Redeeming Royalty - Anthro and the King of Lux

Cover Illustration and Design I worked on with the delightful Chandler Moore and Noble Rogue Publishing.

After reading Chandler's manuscript, I was enchanted by the metaphor of Anthro's blood stained hand. Much like in Macbeth, it is the perfect symbol for Anthro's conflicted conscience and haunts him on his journey to find proof for a natural law of morality.

Together with his roman lorica segmentata, the candlelit cathedral background, and subtle hints at the Cross of Christ in the typography - the cover sets the stage for the story within: one of historical military fiction, christian allegory, and inner turmoil.

After the sketch was approved I had a blast creating a set of armour I could use for reference, hand lettering the lower type, and rendering the illustration to what I consider one of my best works to date!

Like I do for most of my clients, I also supplied Chandler with a starter pack of promotional images and assets he can use to get the marketing ball rolling. Including:

- Social Media Excerpt Template Images for posting quotes from the novel
