Cover Illustration and Design I created with Elliot Kincaid for his sci-fi novel.
Through reading his story--of a futuristic Earth that has been abandoned by humanity to live on a manmade orbiting space ring--we honed in on the class struggle of the synthetics within society as the major hook.
After some back and forth with Elliot on how we could best capture the feeling of his novel we found inspiration in Penguin Random House's iconic I Robot cover and I sketched a contemplative portrait of Iris--the synthetic at the heart of Exodus Blue--and we knew we were on to a banger.
